This feature is only available in OA LodgeMaster 3.0.9 and above.

The Local Data Sharing feature of OA LodgeMaster is to allow multiple computers on the same network to share a single local database. This allows lodges to setup multiple computers at an event when the internet is unavailable to share the same database thus eliminating conflicting synchronizations. Below the documentation describing how to setup the “host” computer and “client” computers to use the local data sharing.

Requirements to Run:

  • OA LodgeMaster 3.0.9 or Above Installed
  • Be a Local Administrator
  • TCP Port 44305 Must Be Open on the Host Computer

Host Computer Setup

NOTE: On the host computer both the OA LodgeMaster Lodge Client Local Sharing AND OA LodgeMaster Lodge Client MUST remain open while clients are connected to it.

For client computers to connect to the host computer TCP Port 44305 must be open on the host computer. If you do not know how to do this below are some links to Microsoft pages with instructions describing how to open the port.

If you use any anti-virus or other security applications that runs its own firewall, it must also have port 44305 open. For instructions on how to open the port in these applications, consult the software user manual or manufacturer website.
